Career Guidance & Placement

      With the help of one of the alumni of Sarada Vilas College, Prof. Praveen C. Ramamurthy, IISc., Sarada Vilas College organized an orientation session on GATE-JAM 2024 for the students of science stream (Both B.Sc. and M.Sc.) on 26th June 2023. This was an outreach program of IISc. Dr. Ritendar Kaur oriented the students on various aspects of GATE-JAM, starting from the structure of the exams till the ways for preparations. Dr. Ritendar Kaur was assisted by Dr. Simranjeet Singh. 157 students of B.Sc.and M.Sc. had participated in the event. Dr. M. Devika presided the initial stage program. After the completion of the first batch, an orientation to the the Bajaj Finserv's Certificate Program in Banking Finance and Insurance (CPBFI) for the second batch of students was organized as per the MoU between Sarada Vilas and Bajaj Finser.v The orientation was organized on 19/06/2023 for the first year M. Com students. Totally 50 students had participated in the orientation out of which 46 students got enrolled for the course.  In the presence of Sri. N. Chandrashekhar, Hon. Secretary, SVEI,  Dr. M. Devika, Principal Sarada Vilas College and the members of placement Cell, certificates were issued to the students of the first batch who had completed the course.  Ms. Rahsmi Mansukhan, Project Head, CSR initiatives, Walchand Plus, oriented the students online through Microsoft teams. Mr. Rajeev Parthasarathy, cluster in charge, CSR initiatives, Walchand Plus also spoke to the students towards the end of the orientation.  A detailed report of the orientation can be found here:  Re
