Workshop on Employability skills for girls

In association with the Naandi Foundation of Telangana, as a part of Mahindra Pride Classroom for women empowerment, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Sarada Vilas College organized one week training for the final year girls on employability skills from 7/11/2022 to 12/11/2022. 

The program was inaugurated on 7/11/2022 by Sri. N. Chandrashekhar, Hon. Secretary, Sarada Vilas Educational Institutions, Mr. Narayan, Director, District Skill Department Mysuru and Mr. Sudarshan C, Assistant Director, District Skill Department Mysuru. Ms. Kavya Iyer of Naandi Foundation was the resource person for this one week workshop. 

The feedback from the students was positive indicating that the program really had impacted them in various areas such as self confidence, communication, critical thinking ability and so on.

On 21/11/2023, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Sarada Vilas, as an IQAC initiative, organized a career guidance session for the final year B.Com, B.B.A and B.Sc. students in association with Rankbook Learning and Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. This was a one hour session from 12:30 pm where the students were guided on various available job opportunities and also were motivated by the resource person Mr. Francis M. CPBFI - Orientation Program for Batch 2

After the completion of the first batch, an orientation to the the Bajaj Finserv's Certificate Program in Banking Finance and Insurance (CPBFI) for the second batch of students was organized as per the MoU between Sarada Vilas and Bajaj Finser.v The orientation was organized on 19/06/2023 for the first year M. Com students. Totally 50 students had participated in the orientation out of which 46 students got enrolled for the course.  In the presence of Sri. N. Chandrashekhar, Hon. Secretary, SVEI,  Dr. M. Devika, Principal Sarada Vilas College and the members of placement Cell, certificates were issued to the students of the first batch who had completed the course.  Ms. Rahsmi Mansukhan, Project Head, CSR initiatives, Walchand Plus, oriented the students online through Microsoft teams.
