  Sarada Vilas College Celebrates Remarkable Placement Success in 2023-24 Academic Year. A Placement Drive was organized on 27th and 28th of March 2024 where four organizations: Dvara, English Partner, Grassroots, and Alpha Costumer Care took part. More than 120 students from final years of B.Sc., B.Com and B.Sc. (Hons') DS and AI had attended the placement drive. Few students from outside the college had also participated in the drive.  The placement drive was launched on 27-03-2024 by Sri. N. Chandrashekar, Hon. Secretary, SVEI. He expressed his appreciation for the college organizing such a meaningful event that would help the students in their careers.  On the first day, i.e. on 27-03-2024, three companies, Dvaara, Grassroots, and Alpha Costumer Care conducted interviews. Zayel Talks - Can we talk on Mental Health?

  On 24th May, 2023, the Career Guidance and Placement cell of Sarada Vilas College organized a special discussion session on Mental Health in association with the Zayel Organization powered by orbfocus healthcare. The objective of the event was to spread awareness among students regarding the importance of healthcare and to create a platform to speak up openly regarding the same. Nearly 100 B.Sc. students made use of the session.  Dr. Neha Dechamma, Clinical Psychologist at Prerana Hospital, Mysuru was the resource person. Dr. Neha initially spoke about the importance of mental health, signs and symptoms of mental health disturbance and the measures that could be taken to keep mental health in a balanced state. The session was quite interactive. Students were given the chances in between to ask questions and many students asked questions related to mental wellbeing.
